UA Installation Download Instructions
If you are a current user of UA: Write down your User ID and User Number.
[To find your User ID and User Number navigate to your Windows Desktop, double click your UA icon, then select 'PREFERENCES' from the tool bar ]
Also, backup your portfolio, which is found in your C:\UA\Archives directory. Using Windows Explorer, navigate into the Archives folder
and right click on the file portfile.adm, select Copy. Then navigate to a different location, such as your desktop or thumb drive, right click and select Paste.
Uninstall your previous version of CSI's Unfair Advantage using the Windows Control Panel.
Then proceed to follow these steps:
  1. Please click on the following link to save the setup file to your computer:

  2. When done saving, run the downloaded file.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions within the InstallShield setup program.
  4. If a previous version of UA is present, choose Repair Mode during the installation if prompted.
  5. When the installation is complete, choose to run the program before exiting the setup program,
    or close and run later from the Desktop icon installed on your computer that resembles this:
  6. Enter your User ID and User Number if and when prompted within UA, then click Yes to Update, unlocking UA, so you can then access your data.
    Otherwise, choose Download Data using the 1st button on UA's toolbar as illustrated below, to unlock UA and access your data:
  7. If you made a copy of your portfolio, you can close UA and copy it back into C:\UA\Archives\ now, if you did not choose to preserve it in the save during setup.
