Place Order

Place order is used only by UA's charting module, and is ignored by MarketScanner. When used correctly, the PlaceOrder command graphically displays open and closed equity.

Guidelines for the Place Order function:


For everything but Perl,
UA.PlaceOrder(Verb,EntryName,ExitName,OnClose,Quantity,WhenCmd,TargetPrice);

·Verb can be EXIT, EXIT LONG, EXIT SHORT, BUY, SELL  

·EntryName and ExitName have no effect.  

·OnClose has no effect.  

·WhenCmd can be OPEN, CLOSE, STOP, MIT, ON CLOSE, ON OPEN , AT MARKET, AT STOP, AT MIT, MARKET IF TOUCHED, MARKET-IF-TOUCHED, AT MARKET IF TOUCHED, AT MARKET-IF-TOUCHED, AT LIMIT, OR BETTER  

For Perl,
PlaceOrder("Sell (\"Enter Short on Crossback\") next day at market");

·if BUY or SELL, BUY|SELL ("ENTRYNAME") (THIS BAR|NEXT BAR| THIS DAY|NEXT DAY) (1 SHARE, N shares, 1 CONTRACT, N CONTRACTS) (ONCLOSE, ON OPEN, AT MARKET, AT xxx STOP, AT xxx MIT, AT xxx MARKET IF TOUCHED| AT xxx LMIT, AT xxx OR BETTER)
