In case they don&#8217;t exist, use the Expiration Date Editor to calculate the expiration dates.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both;\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/datafutures.net\/ecsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/2413211.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"2413211\" width=\"351\" height=\"246\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1336\" style=\"float:right;padding:0px 5px 20px 0;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.csidata.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/2413211.jpg 351w, https:\/\/www.csidata.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/2413211-300x210.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 351px) 100vw, 351px\" \/>To be able to see the Expiration Editor you will need to enter the &#8216;Selecting Data Series&#8217; window.<br \/>\nYou can either create a new portfolio, or add\/edit a symbol to receive the &#8216;Selecting Data Series&#8217; screen.<br \/>\nClick the &#8216;Advanced&#8217; button to expand the &#8216;Selecting Data Series&#8217; window.<\/p>\n<p>After typing in a symbol into the symbol field, you will be able to see the Expiry Dates.<br \/>\nIn case the Expiry Dates field remains blank, than we don&#8217;t have expiration dates for that specific symbol.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both;\"><\/div>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/datafutures.net\/ecsi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/7837953.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"7837953\" width=\"276\" height=\"327\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1337\" style=\"float:right;padding:0px 5px 20px 0;\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.csidata.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/7837953.jpg 276w, https:\/\/www.csidata.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/7837953-253x300.jpg 253w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 276px) 100vw, 276px\" \/>Use the &#8216;Contract Expiry&#8217; button to calculate the expiration dates.<br \/>\nClick the &#8216;Add&#8217; button in the Contract Expiration Rules section and enter the information to calculate the expiration dates. Click the &#8216;OK&#8217; button to save the changes.<\/p>\n<p>The new symbol will appear in the list.<br \/>\nAlso, you are able to add contract rolls to symbols in the Override Contract Roll by Date section.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both;\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Note: The Expiration Editor applies only to the C++ Back Adjuster. If you are using the FORTRAN Back Adjuster you will not be able to use the functions above. To change to the C++ Back Adjuster, select PORTFOLIO from the main menu, click EDIT PORTFOLIO settings, choose the portfolio you wish to convert to C++ and click the &#8216;OK&#8217; button. Click the &#8216;Back Adjusting&#8217; tab, and check the &#8216;Use only the C++ Back Adjuster&#8217; box.
